For an undergraduate graphics assignment, we were tasked with choosing a typeface and pairing it with an animal. Using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, we created booklets that touched on key characteristics of the typeface and family, creator, and researching media and brands that utilized the font.
For an undergraduate graphics assignment we were tasked with scanning a label of a food or beverage project, isolating elements and reorganizing them to create new compositions. Two of the pieces had to incorporate all elements in a free manner. For my other two pieces I chose to play with the juxtaposition of line and color, as well as manipulating elements to create something that had nothing to do with the brand, but rather was a social commentary.
